Stradbroke Kingfisher Tours provide day tours and trips over the Stradbroke Island.  After catching a water taxi over to the Island, the fun starts!  You can be sure that your Stradbroke Island Tour will be a memorable one.  Pick up is available from the Gold Coast, Brisbane Central District, Dunwich Ferry terminals and your Stradbroke Island Accommodation.

If you wish to reduce the cost of your tour, trains are available from Roma Street of Central Stations in Brisbane to take you to the Cleveland Water Taxi service.  The tour starts when you reach Stradbroke Island.

This tour is a well-remembered all around the world.  A fun-packed day full of excitement and sight-seeing, this tour takes you to see:

• Fresh water lakes

• The gorge where you will see whales (when in season) and dolphins, Manta Rays, Turtles and other large fish including sharks.

• Main beach - tour the Keyholes - fresh water lakes

• Flinders Beach - the perfect spot for a BBQ lunch

• Visit 3 townships and discuss history of each area

The tour includes pick-up from your front door between 7:30am and 8:00am, and from Cleveland you will catch the water taxi (a 25-minute trip) across Moreton Bay to the township of Dunwich, where your tour will begin.  Fabulous sight-seeing and lunch is all part of the package.  Your tour finishes at 3:30pm when you will catch the water taxi back to Cleveland.  Return to your pick-up point will be between 4:00pm and 4:15pm.

Included in this great tour is pickup from your Gold Coast accommodation between 7:00am and 7:30am.  Onto Cleveland, you catch the ferry over to Dunwich on Stradbroke. 

The water taxi will take us past Peel Island and Horseshoe Bay, where a cruising speed of 4 knots is advised.  Dropping guests at One Mile at Dunwich, the four wheel drive tour then starts.

Brown Lake is the first port of call.  You can experience the water and swim at everywhere we stop!  Onto Main Beach then; 32 kilometres of pure white sand.  North Gorge is next on the tour list; see the Humpback Whales when they're in season (from June to November).  A BBQ lunch is sure to fill up any empty fuel tanks.

While on Stradbroke, why not take a day to visit Moreton Island?  Leaving from Amity Point, snorkelling tours on the wrecks are fantastic opportunities to explore the underwater world of tranquil fish and marine life.  Scenic beaches are waiting for you on both sides of the Moreton Island.

Leaving from Amity Point at 9:00am, overnight stays can be arranged at Tangalooma Resort so you can feed the dolphins on dusk.
